Love is such a beautiful thing... There are so many types of love, more than just platonic and romantic

I have been in love with love and the concepts around love for as long as I can remember. Because it amazes me that our hearts have so much love in them, even the most hateful person has something they love and that's beautiful.

The 8 Types Of Love

Philia: Love without romantic attraction, a platonic love for friends and family. Philia forms in the mind with others who are on the same wavelength as you.

Pragma: Unique bonded love that matures over many years, an everlasting love between a couple. Unlike falling in love, this love is a slow, everlasting feeling. Pragma forms in the subconscious which brings partners together.

Storge: Naturally occurring love between in parents, children, and even old friends. An infinite love built from memories. As you create more memories, Storge increases.

Eros: Primal, physical love, passionate love displayed through physical affection. This love is a desire for another person, but it includes hand holding and kissing as well as much more sexually intimate actions. The body awakens Eros.

Ludus: Child-like, flirtatious love. This honeymoon type of love is common in new couples, but older couples who strive for playful love have more rewarding relationships. Our emotions bring forth Ludus.

Mania: Obsessive love, dangerous and something that should never be sought out. The main cause of Mania is an imbalance of Eros and Ludus. Survival instincts, especially imbalanced survival instincts, drive people to Mania.

Philautia: Self-love, found within your Soul. An incredibly valuable type of love.

Agape: The highest level of love to offer, it is unconditional love without expectation of receiving anything in return. Agape is not a physical act, but a feeling formed from your Spirit.
